Dating coach

Track matches, get conversation starters, and manage your dating pipeline.

The dating coach helps you manage active matches and figure out what to say. You add your matches, and the AI suggests messages based on context.

Adding a match

Go to Dating in the sidebar. Click "Add Contact" and fill in:

  • Required: Nickname and which app you matched on
  • Optional but helpful: Their age, interests, what they wrote in their profile, and any photos

The more context you provide, the better the AI suggestions will be. You can also use "AI Import" to paste their profile text or upload a screenshot, and the AI will extract the info for you.

Conversation tools

Once you've added a match, you get four AI tools:

Ice breaker -- Generates an opening message. You pick a tone (casual, sincere, or playful), and it writes something based on what you know about the person. Costs 1 credit.

Chat rescue -- For conversations that have stalled. Describe the situation or upload a chat screenshot, and the AI diagnoses what went wrong and suggests how to recover. Costs 1 credit.

Daily push -- A quick suggestion for keeping a conversation going. Less involved than a full chat rescue. Costs 1 credit.

Date invite -- Generates a specific, low-pressure date suggestion based on shared interests. "Want to grab coffee Saturday?" is better than "We should hang out sometime." Costs 1 credit.

Tracking progress

Each contact has a stage: Matched, Chatting, Date Set, or Archived. Move contacts between stages as things progress. This is mainly for your own organization, but it also helps the AI give context-appropriate suggestions.

You can also add:

  • Tags (e.g., "high quality", "funny", "great conversationalist")
  • Quick notes (anything you want to remember)
  • Key info (birthday, love language, what they're looking for)
  • Timeline events (first message, first date, etc.)

Tips

  • Write a few notes about each match right after you add them. The details fade fast.
  • Use chat rescue sparingly. If every conversation needs rescuing, the issue might be somewhere else.
  • The date invite tool works best when you've added shared interests. Generic invites aren't that useful.
