FAQ

Common questions about AskJoey.

Is the generated content unique?

Yes. The AI generates new text each time. Even with the same inputs, you'll get different variations. That said, some phrasing patterns may appear across users since the AI draws on common language structures.

Can people tell my bio was AI-generated?

That depends on how much you edit it. Raw AI output sometimes sounds a bit too polished. Read it out loud. If it doesn't sound like something you'd actually say, change the parts that feel off. The best results come from using AskJoey as a starting point, not a final product.

Are the generated photos realistic?

They look like you in a different setting. The AI preserves your face and general appearance but changes the background, clothing, and lighting. They're realistic enough for dating apps, though a sharp eye might notice they're AI-generated. We recommend mixing them with real photos.

Do you store my data?

Your profile information and generated content are stored in your account so you can access them later. We don't share your personal data with third parties. Photos you upload are used only for AI generation and are not used to train models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You can still browse, edit your profile, and view past generations. You just can't generate new content until you buy more credits or your subscription renews.

Can I use AskJoey for apps that aren't listed?

Yes. The "General" mode produces bios and suggestions that work on any platform. Platform-specific features (like Hinge prompt answers) are only available for supported apps.

I got a result I don't like. What should I do?

Generate again. The AI produces different output each time. If the results are consistently off, check your profile -- sparse profiles lead to generic output. Adding more details about your interests, personality, and what you're looking for usually fixes it.

Is there a mobile app?

AskJoey is a web app that works on both desktop and mobile browsers. There's no native app at this time, but the site is designed for mobile use.
